I’m a Learning Experience Designer and Curriculum Developer focused on improving performance through engaging, purposeful, and evidence-based learning experiences. My work centers on designing instruction that doesn’t just inform—but genuinely changes how people think, learn, and apply skills in real-world settings.
My professional foundation is rooted in supporting youth and adults with disabilities, where I developed a deep appreciation for inclusive, learner-centered design. A pivotal moment in my career came when I joined a task force responsible for developing a statewide job-readiness curriculum for the State of Utah. Seeing the measurable impact this work had on individuals’ confidence, employability, and independence confirmed that learning design was where I could make the greatest difference.
Before working in Utah, I started my career in Colorado. It was here that I had the opportunity to create a Job Club curriculum for individuals with persistent and chronic mental illness, blending accessibility, structure, and dignity into every learning experience. This and my work in Utah ultimately led me to take a bold step forward—in 2020, I launched my own business to focus fully on designing impactful learning solutions.
To strengthen my instructional design expertise, I intentionally deepened my knowledge of instructional design models, learning theory, and performance-based design through extensive independent study and hands-on practice. I further refined these skills by completing Devlin Peck’s Storyline Project Lab, where I designed nine real-world learning projects focused on authentic workplace scenarios, learner engagement, and measurable outcomes.
Today, my approach integrates creative instructional design, adult learning theory, and evidence-based practices. Drawing from my background as a rehabilitation counselor and curriculum developer, I specialize in bridging the gap between theory and practice—ensuring learning experiences are both meaningful and measurable.
If you’re looking to empower learners, strengthen workforce readiness, or design learning that truly sticks, I’d love to collaborate.
