This project was designed to support learner engagement and skill development through scenario-based instruction and interactive learning strategies. The learning experience focused on helping students apply concepts in realistic situations while building critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Students often struggle to transfer classroom concepts into real-world application. Traditional instruction alone may not provide enough opportunities for learners to practice decision-making, reflection, and applied understanding in meaningful contexts.
To address this challenge, I designed a structured learning experience that incorporated guided instruction, interactive activities, and formative assessment opportunities. The project emphasized learner participation, application-based thinking, and clear alignment to learning objectives.

The script took the form of typical interview questions. Originally, this activity had an assessment at the end of the interview; however, I decided to add a mentor to provide guidance throughout the interview process. The mentor also explains the finer points of interviewing and makes this activity interactive by asking self-reflective questions. This iteration increases engagement and learning inpact.
I selected a bold color pallet for my target audience. I also wanted to select a character that represents the youth population as well as typical adult characters. Based on limited voice options, I chose characters that seemed to match the voice-over as well.
With the changes that were made to this project, it was necessary to add some information so that if educators were using this activity in class, they would know the goal and objectives of the activity. I added the Activity Information page and, of course, I added all the mentor pages with the interactive self-reflections as shown above.
